Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Applied Quantum Software, Inc. ("AQS", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use AQS FabriQ and our related websites and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information you provide when you register: your name, email address, and (optionally) your organization.
  • Authentication data. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Your password is managed by Firebase and is never stored in plain text by AQS.
  • Content you create in the Service: portfolios, datasets, algorithm and use-case definitions, saved research, run configurations, and results.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, session identifiers, timestamps (such as your last sign-in), and log data used to operate and secure the Service.
  • Payment information, only if you buy a paid plan or QPU credits: processed by Stripe. AQS does not receive or store your full card number.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and maintain your account; provide, personalize, and improve the Service; authenticate you and keep your session secure; enforce usage limits and prevent abuse; process payments where applicable; send you transactional messages such as email verification, password resets, and support replies; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train models for third parties.

3. Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small number of trusted providers ("sub-processors") to run the Service:

  • Google Cloud Platform, for hosting and database services.
  • Google Firebase, for authentication.
  • Google Workspace / Gmail, for transactional email sent from noreply@aqs.one.
  • Stripe, for payment processing, only if you use paid features.
  • IBM Quantum, when you choose to run a job on real quantum hardware; the circuit and job details needed to execute your job are sent to IBM under their terms.

These providers process data on our behalf and are obligated to protect it. We share personal information only as needed to provide the Service, or as required by law.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and content while your account is active. From Settings inside FabriQ you can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your account and its associated content, except for limited records we may need to retain for legal or security reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU or UK GDPR, or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You can exercise the core of these rights directly through the export and delete tools in Settings, or by contacting us at fabriq@aqs.one.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International data transfers

AQS is based in the United States, and the Service runs on infrastructure located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
